VCU’s Center on Society and Health, in association with the Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research, will host a seminar for research and community partners interested in patient-centered outcomes research.

The seminar will begin with a presentation from Dr. Christopher Gayer, Program Officer from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s (PCORI) Department of Dissemination and Implementation. This will be followed by discussions of the SEED Method, a new methodology for engaging stakeholders in developing community-identified research questions, by Dr. Emily Zimmerman, Dr. Steve Woolf, and Dr. Carlin Rafie. They will present two research agendas created by Virginia stakeholders using this method – one around the topic of diabetes/hypertension management and one for lung cancer outcomes.
