Center Director Steven Woolf spoke today at the Health Affairs briefing on “Pursuing Health Equity.” Dr. Woolf and his colleagues discussed several topics related to health equity, including evidence of inequities in health care, how to achieve health equity, and ways in which we can address the social determinants of health.

The briefing marks the release of Health Affairs’ June Issue on Pursuing Health Equity. Dr. Woolf’s lead paper, “Progress in Achieving Health Equity Requires Attention to Root Causes,” as well as a recording of the event and a Twitter Storify, can be found at the event’s website.
