Steve Woolf and Chanel Bea Highlight Benefits of Community Stakeholder Engagement in Research

At a briefing event hosted by Health Affairs on April 7 in Washington, DC, CSH Director Steve Woolf and Community Researcher Chanel Bea gave compelling interviews on the important benefits of community and patient engagement to improve health and health care delivery in our country. Health Affairs in partnership with the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute produced the video below as a companion to the briefing and release of its April 2016 issue, “Patients’ and Consumers’ Use of Evidence.” Dr. Woolf, along with researchers Emily Zimmerman, Amber Haley, and Alex Krist were participating authors in the April issue of Health Affairs.
